After the fire, D. M. Hartzler purchased the property from C. J. Miller. He constructed a new mill and storage buildings, many of which are still in use today. For many years Hartzlers continued to press cider and manufacture apple butter in a building that we currently use for storage. Here's an early photograph of horse drawn wagons lined up in front of our company, waiting to have apples pressed into cider.
